The luxurious United Arab Emirates airline Etihad Airways has strongly positioned itself within the fashion industry as an official sponsor of the world’s fashion weeks. Aspiring to become the airline of choice for the global fashion world, Etihad Airways and London Fashion Week Men’s have partnered for the past week to celebrate creativity, art and beauty. Through June 8th – June 11th the stylish and affluent community had the opportunity to witness and enjoy the creations of established and new talented designers and its SS 2018 menswear collections.

One of the most innovative collections was presented by John Lawrence Sullivan, a name given in tribute to the legendary boxer and champion, also known as The Boston Strong Boy. The brand brings out a character of extraordinary prominence, fabled strength and determination. Founded by Japanese designer Arashi Yanagawa in 2003, the brand without a doubt has inherited a strong temperament, which has been presented with confidence in his Spring/Summer 2018 collection at the Men’s London Fashion week.  

The foundation of “The New Grave” collection is based on timeless yet creative tailoring influenced by post punk era, featuring materials such as shiny nylon, leather and denim. Knee-length heavy boots, oversized big shouldered sleeveless jackets, graphic t-shirts and wide high waisted trousers – each piece has a personality in itself, bringing energy to the whole collection. With an artful mix of the traditional and the alternative, purples, reds and khaki tones accompany dark shades in edgy and distinctive looks. Presented with an attitude, looks are completed with metal detailed leather belts and authentic vintage glasses. These are exceptional garments that plead to be worn by the brave who value the prominence, which is at the core of the brand’s DNA.
